Descalers

Marine growth & scale build-up are two major causes of water-cooled equipment failure. Traditional methods of cleaning (such as mechanical brushing or harsh acids) can damage equipment and are potentially harmful to the user and the environment. TRAC has developed a line of safe, biodegradable chemicals that efficiently and economically dissolve scale, barnacles, zebra mussels, calcium, rust, lime and other mineral deposits that can reduce water flow.
Barnacle Buster: is a safe, non-toxic, and biodegradable marine growth remover formulated to meet an industry wide need for a fast, safe, cost effective alternative to mechanical cleaning of seawater cooled equipment. With minimal dismantling required, Barnacle Buster can be safely recirculated throughout all seawater cooling systems, dissolving barnacles, zebra mussels, calcium, rust, lime, and other mineral deposits. Most applications can be completed within 4 hours! Barnacle Buster along with our Advanced Descaling Technologies has many advantages including rapid execution, low corrosion rates and the ability to either spot clean or flush the entire system.
Descaler: is formulated to remove residues caused by fresh water, such as scale, silicate, calcium, sludge and mineral deposits. Descaler is a safe biodegradable scale remover designed to disolve fresh water scale which forms a rock-like build up inside water cooled equipment. Scale deposits in your equipment's cooling system dramatically reduces heat transfer rates. As little as 1/64" of scale build up will reduce system efficiency by as much as 15%. Eventually this will result in the system overheating. Descaler can safely be used within engines, cooling towers, boilers, or just about any other system re-circulating water.
PSR: originally designed to address problems within municipal drinking water systems, PSR has been formulated to meet strict NSF requirements. PSR rids your potable water system of odours & discolouration by attacking the source. Scale builds on low lying, flat sections of your system allowing bacteria to form. PSR targets & removes these areas, bringing new life to your fresh water system. Built on our proven formula providing a safe, non-toxic solution, PSR takes it one step further by employing only food-grade rated chemicals. Thus ensuring your system will remain safe for drinking. PSR provides impeccable results without having to remove any piping or create a mess.
Sew Clean: is the only safe and effective environmental solution to eliminate problematic clogs and nasty odours from black water systems. Special attention has been given to ensure that foam and bacteria are significantly reduced while flushing. Like all of TRAC's products, Sew Clean is non-toxic, biodegradable and safe to use with all types of materials commonly found in black water systems. Sew Clean is the most effective alternative when it comes to removing uric scale from deep inside black water systems. Formulated specifically to target uric scale and clean sewage systems from toilet to tank, Sew Clean will dissolve clogs which cause plumbing to overflow and create nasty odours. Sew Clean has been designed to provide impeccable results without having to remove any piping or create a mess.

GreenClean Boat Soap: is safe, non-toxic, non-corrosive and 100% biodegradable in under 28 days, an efficient, concentrated solution (just one capful per 4lt of water) that is tough on dirt. Whether considering your customers or the environment, our products are safe for both the consumer and the environment in which they are being applied. Since our solutions are biodegradable and non-toxic, you can dispose of them down regular sewer systems. TRAC's Descalers are the only descalers to have met the strict NSF requirements and also pass the California fish toxicity essay test.
Effective
Our descalers are designed to dissolve scale build up, lime, marine growth, uric scale, rust and all other mineral deposits, more efficiently and effectively. Due to phosphoric acid's milder nature, our descalers do not foam like other hydrochloric acid based solutions. This low foaming action allows for a more thorough cleaning, since the system can be completely filled. Our descalers can also absorb 1.1kg per 5lt of ready to use solution in approximately 20 minutes.
